Behind the brand
Kaissu was born in the land of long and dark nights, in the embrace of virgin forests and freezing winds. Taken from the wilderness and inspired by its unique beauty.

The brand was established in 2017 focusing on bedrooms, but new ideas have guided us further. While developing and testing our core pieces in our own production, we also collaborate with Estonia's best and most qualified crafters and manufacturers.
Kaissu's home is in Estonia, the north corner of Europe. Our designs, on the other hand, travel all the way around the world.
Design & materials
Slim shapes, fine lines and high quality materials define Kaissu's design. We flirt with trends, but our creative experiments result in pieces with unique character that fulfil their primary function while providing beauty to any space, regardless of time period.
Products manufactured in small volumes are unique. Using mostly natural wood, every item is one of a kind and has a story to tell — shaped by how nature designed the wood over time.
Our utmost purpose is to create high-quality items that last for generations. Durable materials, convenient packaging, smooth assembly, trouble-free care, and recycling of the depleted product are all considered during the design process. Piece-by-piece inspection ensures each detail meets quality requirements and is matched in wood pattern and shade.
Kaissu emphasises the incredible beauty of wood by allowing it to speak for itself. Each piece has a distinct touch, born from the combination of craftsmanship and appreciation for raw materials.
